Peanut Butter (No) Jelly Time

It’s been a long and wonderful journey outside of! Now that everything has settled down with our new little peanut, and I no longer have to live off peanut butter on super-high fiber bread, I hope to get back to working full speed ahead on the database website. In the meantime, I have splurged a little on some goodies (you know, the kind that fit even when you need to lose a whole dress size!), and I’ll post pics in the coming weeks.

Here are some very recent acquisitions…

The local department store appears to be clearing out Illamasqua, which I’d never tried before save a couple of powder blushes earlier this year. I took the opportunity to try out their nail polish (of course!).

I also spotted some new-to-me Pacifica makeup online, so I picked up an eyeshadow palette and another nail polish.

Finally, most randomly, I was in the pharmacy aisle of the grocery and noticed a lone package of Playtex that came with a free Revlon nail polish. How could I pass that up, right?! Sales are nice, but free is fantastic!

    • They are super-pigmented and very finely milled! Kick up a bit of dust when touched with a brush. They’re just wonderful and the color is very true to the pan. Because of the high pigmentation they are a little tough to get just right for a blush newbie like me ๐Ÿ˜€
