This month, my Ipsy (referral link) Glam Bag arrived a little later than usual, but I finally received it today! Well, yesterday, I guess. It’ll be tomorrow by the time I post this.
What I received this month:
- JulieG Nail Color in Damsel
- Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, for Brown to Dark Hair
- MicaBeauty Eye Primer
- Starlooks Satin Finish Lip Gloss in Cuddle
- theBalm NUDE Dude Eyeshadow Single in Flirty (I believe everyone got either this or the shade Fit)
- Ipsy “Beautifully Bohemian” cosmetic bag
I have yet to try anything from this month’s Glam Bag, but here are some photos:
theBalm NUDE Dude Eyeshadow Single in Flirty. I couldn’t get the actual eyeshadow pan to show up properly (it kept turning out looking taupe/golden when it’s really a “golden violet”), so I’ll have to try again later.
JulieG Nail Color in Damsel. This pink nail polish isn’t really my style, but I actually don’t mind the color on me. I’ll do a review in my next post! This did also come with a coupon for JulieG or Jessie’s Girl nail stuff at Rite-Aid, but we don’t have that chain up here in Canada (I don’t think!) so that is useless to me.
MicaBeauty Eye Primer. I’m pretty glad that I got this, as I probably need one for swatching some eyeshadow! I don’t normally use eyeshadow primer, myself.
Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, for Brown to Dark Hair. Not sure when I’ll need something like this…I don’t know why there’s often some useless (for me) hair product like dry shampoo or hairspray.
Starlooks Satin Finish Lip Gloss in Cuddle. This actually wasn’t labeled as a lip gloss, so I was unsure whether it was a lip gloss or a cream eyeshadow and had to look it up on Ipsy’s site. It’s a lip gloss! Looks pretty; I hope I like it as much as I did the other Starlooks item I received from Ipsy, which was a creamy purple eyeliner.
Overall, a decent Ipsy bag. Nothing that blows me away, and one rather useless item for my purposes (the dry shampoo), but there is some promising stuff in here, like the eyeshadow and the lip gloss. The bag is kind of cute, but I think it’d get dirty and gross pretty fast with that rattan-weave sort of thing!
