And, combined with my recent Illamasqua haul at Hudson’s Bay, that’s me on a low-buy for the next few months! (Hey, what else am I going to get with next month’s Mother’s Day budget?)
- Ardency Inn MODSTER Long Play Supercharged Lip Color in Sweet Nothing
- Guerlain Rouge G de Guerlain Jewel Lipstick Compact in Gracia (66)
- Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio in Floracouture (OR316)
Sample Freebies:
- Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer
- Kat Von D Lock It Foundation
- Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat – Radiant Touch
(With this order, I’ve now achieved VIB Status for next year. The shame.)
[Edit @ 12:43pm EST: It’s just shipped! Yay!]
Nicely done! I love those Shiseido trios – the colour combinations are always so unexpected but they work. I’m always itching to buy more of them. I have a couple of those Guerlain lipstick… the bullet in itself is a masterpiece, but very weighty to carry around.
My Sephora order was very tame:
Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta® Glow Pads 20 Wipes (not for me, for my friend)
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Honey (also not for me [sadly! because I really really want to try this], for my coworker)
Bareminerals Locked & Coated™ Waterproof Lash Topcoat (this is for me, because my current Clarins one is getting gross and needs to be tossed)
My samples were:
Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation Mattifying Oil Free in Light Beige
Guerlain Abeille Royale Face Treament Oil
Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist
I guess I should have done my own post but eh, my items are boring. 😀

LOL not boring! Please do a post on the Bareminerals lash top coat when you can! I was checking it out, but…argh I have so many mascaras ATM and I don’t even use mascara every day.
This will be my first Guerlain Rouge G, so I’m hopeful that it’s worth the price. I was torn between that and another NARS Audacious, and in the end I went with trying new stuff with the Guerlain and Ardency Inn.

Definitely, I had planned to do a post on the Clarins Double Fix – it’s fantastic but Sephora doesn’t sell it. It also costs $24. The Bareminerals was only $15 so let’s see how it performs.
The Rouge G is DIVINE. Amazing formula and pigmentation. I *so* did not want to like it but I do… sigh. I only have 2: Provocative (in the black LE packaging) and Garance… I foresee more in my future.
What made you want to try the Ardency Inn lipstick? I haven’t heard much about this brand although I do own 1 of their eye shadows and it’s very nice.
I eventually want a Nars Audacious lipstick too… just can’t decide on what shade.

I remember testing a Rouge G in Gigolo and not being terribly wowed by it (I think the color was just not for me), but I have gotten suckered in by what I hope is a lipstick in a more everyday shade.
I have one Audacious, in Vera, and it’s really nice. I am not in love with the color on me, but the formula is lovely. I also prefer NARS’ packaging. Honestly I find Guerlain and YSL packaging gaudy! Hahaha. I love the YSLs I have, but loathe the casing.
As for the Ardency Inn, I just thought I’d try something new. I’m not a big nude lipstick person, either, so this is more of an experiment.
