…and not only has the price gone up by $130, but the CAD-USD exchange rate is definitely not in my favor at this time. And, low-buy. Of course.

Guess I’ll just have to keep “making do” with Guerlain L’Heure Bleue as I pine away for this perfume.
Grossmith Shem-el-Nessim was actually only $245 when I first pinned it a few years ago. Last Christmas, I toyed with the idea of getting it, but it was $295 and out of stock. Now it’s a whopping $425. (I’m assuming these prices have all been for the 100 mL edp, because I don’t recall seeing another edp size. I’m hoping that I’m wrong and the $245-$295 prices were for a 50 mL size…pretty please?)
Wistfully yours,
fz
WHOA. That is a huge price difference. I wonder why they boosted the price so much???

Grossmith is based in the UK, so I don’t know if it has anything to do with that. But I guess in general, luxury brands like to raise prices! Boo!

True! Louis Vuitton being a classic example of ridiculous, regular price hiking.

Yes! Guess it’s all part of the image & marketing!

According to fragrantica, it is available in 50 and 100ml:

I bet the $295 was for 50ml. That said, whoa – that’s some expensive scented liquid.
(this post makes FIVE posts today, and do I spy yet another nail polish swatch post after this one…)

Ahh thanks. So there is hope. LOL. I still dunno if I can bring myself to spend that much. 🙂
