Brand: Revlon
Revlon makes some of the best red nail polishes (and lipsticks!) in the drugstore, continuing a long tradition that runs all the way back to the 1930s. Fearless (640) is a newer addition to the core collection of Nail Enamel, though I’m not sure exactly when it was introduced.
It’s a hot, hot, hot red cream that has a strong pink-coral tone that makes it simultaneously warm and cool. It’s very vibrant, but not neon, and the color is clear and strong.
The formula isn’t too thin or too thick, so it is very easy to work with. Application was nearly perfect: you can definitely get away with two coats, but I liked three for a bit of extra polish.
I can’t recommend this one enough! It’ll look amazing on most, if not all, skintones, in my opinion, but I think it’d be especially smashing on tanned toes.
Revlon Nail Enamel retails for around US$4.99 / CA$5.99 and is 0.5 US fl oz / 14.7 mL. They are free of toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and are made in the USA.
Buy: Revlon Nail Enamel in Fearless at Amazon.com
Revlon is a public company based in New York, NY, USA.
Holy crap, you’re on a roll today! Did you just post FOUR posts for the day? That’s a record of some sort. Can you believe that I don’t own a single red polish from Revlon? That will have to be remedied. I really like the look of this one.

faints Not even Vixen? You ought to get Fearless if you like it, though. It looks even better IRL. Couldn’t quite capture the corally tone.
Yeah, in a swatchy mood today! 🙂

Do you have an entry on Revlon Vixen? I feel like I own a few of those vampy shades but I never wear them. I just feel like they show tip wear so fast it bugs me.

I might have, but I want to redo it. It’s not my fave vampy red, but it’s a good drugstore option.
I see what you mean with the tip wear – I only do vampies when my nails are super short. Otherwise, they chip crazy fast. (Not that my nails are ever long, really, but YKWIM!)

What a gorgeous colour, this really is a universally flattering shade.

I actually bought this when it was considered fairly new, back in early-mid 2012 I believe. I love the colour, but I hate wearing it because I don’t think it flatters me whatsoever >.<

Aww! Have you tried in on toes? I find I can successfully relegate colors I don’t like on my hands to my feet instead! 😀
