Revlon — Socialite (Nail Enamel) Swatch & Review

Revlon Nail Enamel in Socialite

Brand: Revlon

I just picked up a couple of Revlon Nail Enamels on sale for CA$2.99, Enchanted (which I swatched yesterday) and Socialite.

Socialite (525) is a pale pastel turquoise with very subtle shimmer. In the bottle, the shimmer is silver, blue and pink. On the nail, this basically translates to a faint silvery turquiose shimmer. It gives the effect that the polish has a cream finish, but with a soft sheen.

The polish is a little thick and doesn’t even out well, though I can forgive it a little since the color is a very whitened pastel. For the swatch, I did three coats in a semi-successful attempt to even out the polish.

Revlon Nail Enamel retails for around US$4.99 / CA$5.99 and is 0.5 US fl oz / 14.7 mL. It is free of toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and is made in the USA.

Revlon is a public company based in New York, NY, USA.

    • Yeah, if you have similar colors already, which perform better, then there’s no need to get this one 🙂 It’s a fab color, though! I am a sucker for this shade, too!
