Collection: Zoya 2012 Summer, Surf
This is one of my favorite polishes to wear in the summer over the last few years. You can’t tell from the bottle pic because I’ve shaken it up a bit before taking the photo, but I’ve used up about 15% of the polish. That’s a lot for me these days!
Daisy is described by Zoya as a “deep, saturated, oceanic turquoise with gold and silver metallic shimmer and a foil-like finish”. I’m not sure I’d call it a deep shade, as it’s more of a slightly darker midtone to me, but perhaps that’s not quite what they meant by “deep.” Either way, it’s a gorgeous balanced turquoise (not too green or too blue) with loads of old silver shimmer. It’s sparkly to the point where I’d just about call it a microglitter.
Application is nice and even, and the polish is opaque in two coats. Removal is a bit of a pain, however, as there’s loads of chunky shimmer in it.
Zoya Professional Lacquer retails for US$9 and is 0.5 US fl oz / 15 mL. Zoya nail polishes are free of toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and camphor, and are made in the USA.
Zoya is part of Art of Beauty, a privately held company based in Cleveland, OH, USA.
What is the best way to remove glitter? It’s the whole reason I don’t paint my entire nail bed with glitter–The removal process. Lol

There’s a foil method for removing glitter, though I have always just doused a pad in remover and pressed it over the nail for about 10-20 sec. It’s a pain, but it works well enough for me! I also avoid glitters for this reason. I can deal better with it on my toes, since I change pedis much less often (and I have teeny weeny toenails).

Wow, I can see a bit from the photo where you’re holding the bottle, that there is quite a bit of this used up – impressive! This shade is quite eye catching, although I’d like just wear it on my toes.

I mainly wear it on toes, because I don’t have to change my pedi as often as my mani. Hate removing glitter 😀

Aw, sorry to hear about removing it being a pain. It is a beautiful shade, though. ❤
