Brand: Revlon
Happy Mother’s Day! Here’s an easily obtainable (in North America, anyway) polish in a bright and feminine shade to celebrate the day.
Plum Seduction (917), which has been in Revlon’s core line-up for at least several years, is a bit misnamed, as it’s a fuchsia, not a plum. The color is a clean, vibrant fuchsia and the finish is a smooth, shiny cream. Fuchsia’s not really my thing, but I do like this one.
Application was very nice: smooth and streak-free. The formula is a little on the sheer side, so while two coats will give nearly opaque coverage, I needed three for full opacity. I don’t mind, as the application was so easy.
Revlon Nail Enamel retails for around US$4.99 / CA$5.99 and is 0.5 US fl oz / 14.7 mL. They are free of toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and are made in the USA.

Happy Mother’s Day! Is this your first Mother’s Day as a mama?

It is my second, as my peanut was born in early spring last year. I actually completely forgot about it. People called to say “Happy Mother’s Day!” and I was like…what?
