Brand: Essie
Happy Monday! Here’s an office-appropriate polish to start off the week!
I don’t often wear nude polish (who are we kidding, I pretty much never do!) but if I did, I’d wear Fed Up. It’s a sheer, light milky beige with a strong yellow-y buff tone to it.
The formula is actually pretty good. I’d expect it to be streaky but it applies quite evenly. Two coats is nice and subtle, but I did about four in the swatch just to get it more opaque to show the color better. If you’re warm-toned and like to wear neutral polishes, I definitely recommend checking this one out!
Fed Up was released quite a while ago (perhaps 2000–01, based on its code being 404), but it is still in production.
Essie Nail Polish retails for US$8.50 / CA$9.99–$10.99 and is 0.46 US fl oz / 13.5 mL. The polish is free of toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP). (However, my bottle is fairly old and is likely not 3-Free.) It is made in the USA.
Essie Cosmetics, founded in 1981, is based in Westfield NJ, USA. In 2010, Essie was acquired by the L’Oréal Group.
I thought I had this one – turns out it’s on my wish list.:P These kinds of polishes are my jam!
