Throwback Thursday! OPI — Rodeo Rose (Nail Lacquer) Swatch & Review

Collection: OPI 1999 Spring/Summer, Wild West

Rodeo Rose is a gorgeous, bright, cool-toned rose pink cream. It requires two coats for full opacity. It’s a real oldie, but the formula is still perfect and it dries to a glossy sheen.

OPI Nail Lacquer in Rodeo Rose, swatchOPI Nail Lacquer in Rodeo Rose, label

OPI Nail Lacquer retails for about US$9.50 / higher in CA$ (I see a range of prices) and is 0.5 US fl oz / 15 mL. OPI nail polishes are currently free of toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and camphor. (Since this is an older polish, I suspect this is not 3-Free.) They are made in the USA.

OPI has been owned by global beauty company Coty Inc. since 2010.

  1. I absolutely love these OPI throwback posts! In 1999/2000 When I was 14/15 I had a weekend job in a little salon as a receptionist/hair sweeper and I totally remember these colors!!!!!! Way back before the 3 free days!!!! Thanks for sharing! Do you have Jasper Jade, by chance?

    • I’m so glad you like them! That must have been an awesome job, looking at all those nail colors! 🙂 Did you get to try them, too?

And yes, I actually meant to swatch Jasper Jade in March for St Patrick’s Day, but I didn’t get around it it. I’ll swatch it for next Thursday if I can! 🙂

      • It was so much fun and I definitely tried the nail polish! It was so fun with all of the new collections! I remember when we got the crackle nail polish in every imaginable color (can’t remember the brand) and we all thought it was the most intriguing thing ever! Ahhh, so happy you have Jasper Jade! That was my go to back in the day! I’d love to see you swatch it whenever you have a chance! 🙂
