Happy Father’s Day!
In honor of the day, I thought I’d share two favorite colognes of two of my favorite guys, my dad and my husband.

Paco Rabanne pour Homme is a bit of a classic. It was given to my husband, when he was a teenager, by his dad, and it is the first cologne I ever smelled on him. It was fantastic: green, herby, woody, sensual yet non-threatening (hahaha!). It was also strong as heck, so if you own the vintage formulation, seriously…tone it down! The newer reformulated version is weaker and “cleaner” smelling (presumably because the rich mossy basenotes are gone), though it’s still serviceably green and woody, reminiscent of a pine forest. I can only hope that by the time our son is old enough to wear cologne, IRFA regulations won’t have turned this cologne into Pine-Sol. Paco Rabanne pour Homme was launched in 1973 and was composed by Jean Martel.
Both of the colognes are made in France.
Do you like to give colognes on Father’s Day? What are your (or, their) favorites?
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, everyone!

This post is fabulous with thoughtful idea of giving cologne to a lovely dad/husband on Father’s day and both of them are absolutely good in their own way and when it comes to me, I would like to gift Bleu de Chanel from Chanel as their fragrance is more masculine in aroma.

Thank you! Bleu de Chanel is definitely a nice, modern masculine.
