So Shoppers Drug Mart (Canada) is doing a slightly different event this Friday. Usually, the event bumps up the dollar amounts you can get for redeeming a certain number of points.

This Friday, June 26, 2015, you will instead get the usual $170 by redeeming 95,000 points. However, you will get 30,000 points back!

The norm for Spend Your Points Events is that redeeming 95,000 points will give you $200 (very occasionally $210 or $220) instead of the usual $170, a bonus of $30.

If they give you 30,000 points back on Friday, that 30,000 points is equivalent to about $54 at the normal rate. And, if you wait for another Spend Your Points Event where you get $200 for 95,000 points, then that 30,000 points will be equivalent to about $63! (Gosh I hope I did my math right, there.)

So, if you were planning on redeeming 95,000 points soon, this Friday is a pretty good time to do it!

Please note that you do have to print out a coupon for this event, or load it to your card via the website or the mobile app. You’ll need an account set up using your Shoppers Optimum Card number.

The points can be spent on most products at Shoppers Drug Mart, including prestige beauty items!
