Styled With Joy nominated me for this tag last week, so I’m trying not to procrastinate and am putting this out today!
Q: Name a beauty regimen that you rarely do?
A: Masks. I’m just soooo lazy to use them. I’d rather go to sleep. LOL!
Q: Is washing your makeup brushes something that you do regularly?
A: I used to do it every week, but it’s since stretched out to two, and (gulp) even three at times. Awful. But I’ve been too busy and too exhausted this holiday season! I’ll wash them this week, I promise!
Q: How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
A: As a nail polish lover but also a massive procrastinator, I think it won’t surprise anyone to know that I actually don’t mind chipped polish that much. Not that I’ll wear it like it’s a thing, but I don’t care much. Life’s too short to worry about that stuff. I’ll change it when I change it. Get off my back, already! (Hahaha.)
Q: How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?
A: I love to shop sales, so I usually will wait, or, more likely, I already have a backup in storage.
Q: What’s your worst beauty habit?
A: Not getting enough sleep. My skin gets so bad when this happens.
Q: Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
A: Cleaning house. I loathe it. I am personally fairly tidy (maybe a bit disorganized, but overall clean) so I like to subscribe to the “don’t make a mess, you won’t have one to clean up” school of keeping house. OTOH, I also live with DH and a 1.5 year old, so that hardly flies anymore.
Q: When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?
A: Rarely. I am pretty good at knowing how much time I need to do things and setting that time aside, if I deem it to be important enough.
Q: Can you commit to spending bans?
A: Not really. (Well, I can if I REALLY want to, but I haven’t really wanted to in a while.) But I do always stick to a budget.
Q: How organized are your makeup and nail polish collections?
A: I need to get more organizers—like more IKEA HELMERS—for sure. And get rid of stuff I don’t want anymore. The makeup I use every day, in the bathroom, is fairly organized, though.
