Collection: Yves Rocher 2015 Winter, Holiday
Yves Rocher released a collection of holiday shades in their new Botanical Colour Nail Polish line, which I’ve been loving! The collection also includes a loose flake glitter in rose gold.
I recently ordered the lot of them (apart from the flake glitter, which I’m just not into) when they went on sale. I’ve previously reviewed Frosted Pink Champagne / Champagne rosé givré (03) and Pearly Pink Champagne / Champagne rosé perlé (04), and today I’m reviewing a deeper blue shade from the collection.

Pearly Midnight Blue / Bleu nuit perlé (65) is a dark, cool-toned blue with frosty shimmer. It looks a little more multi-dimensional in the bottle, but on the nail, it’s just blue.
Application is very nice and smooth. It’s also a one-coat wonder, and one coat is what you see in the swatch, but I think I’d personally still prefer to use two coats. This is simply because even though the color is fully opaque with one, the coat is still quite thin and I feel my nail doesn’t look smooth enough! Curse the vertical ridging on my nails.
Yves Rocher Botanical Colour Nail Polish is 0.16 fl oz / 5 mL and retails for US$6 / CA$6 / UK£2.95 / EU€2.95. It is free of toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and it is made in France.
Yves Rocher was founded in 1959. The company is based in La Gacilly, France.
Pretty blue colour! Are you going to be getting the Essie Starry Starry Night from the Retro collection? I’m so excited for it! I’m curious how true the re-launch is to the original.
