Collection: Lancôme 2016 Spring, With Love
Lancôme’s With Love collection for Spring 2016 includes three new nail polishes in their Vernis in Love line. They’re soft, milky pastels (of course!):
Rose Haussmann (146), a beautiful bluish pink.
Jaune Grands Boulevards (149), a lemon yellow with none of the acidity.
Bleu Ciel Parisien (153), a subtly veiled azure.
MSRP is for US$15.50 / CA$19 and the bottles contain 6 mL.

The rest of the collection boasts some beautifully packaged blush and eyeshadow, plus a couple of charming lipsticks and a blue eyeliner:
The dream becomes reality: the iconic cube of our childhood is transformed into the most desirable of palettes, the star product for spring 2016.
This marvelous cheek and eye palette pushes the all-in-one concept into a totally new dimension, where creativity becomes limitless. Its nine daring colour cubes, nine iridescent pastels, offer infinite combinations to delight every woman’s inner child. More than ever, make-up becomes playful: an adventure divested of rules, where freshness always prevails.

The Limited Edition My Parisian Blush is definitively playful and visually irresistible. Balloon-round and decorated in pop colours reminiscent of a sweet shop, it promises the healthy glow and effortless radiance adored by the Parisienne. Instantly addictive, the surprise lies in its “Play-doh” texture: delightfully the finger presses in, reminiscent of Proust’s madeleine. Here, this nostalgic dough becomes a beauty tool, enlivening the cheeks with irresistible freshness. Dressed in an illustrated metal case, it is available in one subtly zesty shade:
02 Rose Haussmann, a flush-effect bluish pink which infuses the face with emotion.

In her dream, our Parisienne dresses her lips in delicate colours, with no excess of pigment, for the most charming tender shine. Rouge In Love is her lipstick, luminous with a second-skin effect. Light in coverage, it comes in two new soft and romantic shades:
407 Corail de Ville, a pastel tangerine for maximum fresh impact.
408 Rose Haussmann, an elegant pink perfected by a hint of blue.

I’m so SO curious about those cube things! But I think they’ll be quite sheer. They look like dyed sugar cubes. Hey, that’s an idea… dyed sugar cubes. Wouldn’t that be so cute for high tea? ❤

The whimsy of this collection’s promotional images remind a bit of me of Guerlain’s for their Meteorites:

It does sound adorable! I wonder if anyone’s done it. And if they have, does it makes your tea look weird?

Wow! What a great collection! I love the silver themed packaging running all throughout the makeup side and the balloon details make it more funful. In particularly, I loved that rich blush.

Those nail polishes are too mainstream typical ‘spring’ colours, I expected better! Those palette colours are quite the something though, as is the blush! I feel like only the palette seems to be the most versatile in terms of being suitable for people of various skin tones.

We do get pummeled with pastels in spring, don’t we?! But – sigh – they are pretty! I do like the palette best, too 🙂
