China Glaze has released two new Spring 2016 collections, House of Colour and, under their Ever Glaze sub-brand, Record Time Record Shine.
Collection: China Glaze 2016 Spring, Ever Glaze: Record Time Record Shine

This Extended Wear line was just released last year by China Glaze. The new collection consists of six mostly punchy shades (descriptions are mine, off the bottle pics on the official site):
- Bring On the Plurpees (intense purple)
- Water Break (turquoise)
- Beat Your Best Lime (pale lime)
- Mind Over Matter (light brown)
- 30 Sec Plink (hot fuchsia)
- Red Warrior Pose (orange-red)

Collection: China Glaze 2016 Spring, House of Colour
House of Colour
In the regular China Glaze line, these twelve shades have been released for spring. I personally don’t see much of a theme going on here, though there are a few interesting shades. I do find China Glaze’s choice of British spelling for “Colour” interesting, since they are an American brand. I guess they’re not the only brand to do it (see ColourPop). Do British/Canadian/Australian, etc., brands ever spell the American way? I don’t think I’ve ever noticed it in Canada…

The twelve shades are (descriptions are mine, off the bottle pics on the official site):
- About Layin’ Out (orange)
- Chrome Is Where the Heart Is (taupe-y mauve shimmer)
- Come Rain or Shine (intense blue)
- Don’t Be Shallow (light blue)
- Girls Just Wanna Have Sun (pastel yellow)
- Glitter Me This (beige confetti)
- In the Near Fuchsia (fuchsia)
- Let’s Chalk About It (pale pink)
- Moonlight the Night (indigo glitter)
- Pink or Swim (soft pink)
- Shut the Front Door (plum shimmer)
- Sorry I’m Latte (sotf brown)

At least it’s not all spring pastels, right? What do you think of the new shades?
What… you changed your blog domain! I just noticed…
Hmmm I like “Chrome is where the Heart is” based on the promotional image photos… but I’ll need to see actual bottle photos to see!

LOL yes I mentioned it…in some post last week. Minor thing, anyway. I had trouble with BlogLovin’, though.
Chrome was the most interesting to me, too, but it does need to be seen in person/better shots, I agree!

The purple and turquoise look gorgeous in the EverGlaze collection- and in House of Colour ‘Glitter Me This’ looks really interesting! I’ve been keeping my eye out for unique looking glitters lately. I don’t feel like I have enough.

I’m not a big glitter person, but whenever I see a cool looking one, I kinda want it, too! ChG always makes some pretty glitters.

I don’t know what’s up with all the China Glaze lines (there’s like a Gelaze, too? and Ceramic Glaze at SDM)!
