Collection: Orly 2016 Spring, Melrose
Orly’s Spring 2016 collection contains a nice mix of seasonal pastels with some deeper, lush shades, all in assorted finishes.
From Orly:
Take a stroll down the famous and funky indie shopping mecca that stretches from Silver Lake to Santa Monica. Here you’ll find designer couture, funky indie shops, restaurants and one of L.A.’s most popular flower shops.
- Beautifully Bizarre, pink shimmer.
- Feel the Funk, fuchsia holographic glitter.
- Hip & Outlandish, teal cream.
- Trendy, peach shimmer.
- Vintage, mint green cream.
- Window Shopping, raspberry cream.
I’m digging most of these, especially Feel the Funk and Window Shopping! How about you?
Orly Nail Lacquer retails for US$8.50 and is 0.6 US fl oz / 18 mL. Zoya nail polishes are free of toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and camphor, and are made in the USA.
Orly International Inc. was founded by Jeff Pink in 1975, in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Orly claims that Pink invented the “original French manicure” as a manicurist on Hollywood sets; while he might have come up with the name, and marketed it as an at-home kit in the 70s, others suggest that the style had been around since possibly the 1930s, and in France.
Those minty greens are awesome

I’m a little surprised that mint greens haven’t gone “out” yet, but I still love them!

Loving the greens, especially the darker one. The entire range looks lovely though, I might have to combine pink and green in a look after seeing how nice these look together.
