Brand: Aerie
I was recently in the market for some new undies, and so, as I’ve done for the last several years, I hit up my local Aerie for their 7 pairs for CA$28. While there, I noticed a few beauty products like Tonymoly masks and some Aerie-branded nail polish. Of course, my impulse was to grab a nail polish, and here it is for today’s swatch.
So. Much. Fun. (French translation: Tellement. Amusant.) is a soft pastel lavender with fine, subtle silver shimmer. The shimmer is on the sparser side, so the finish doesn’t seem like a full-blown shimmer.
I used two coats for the swatch, though ideally I’d have used a third on certain spots to get it perfectly even. Honestly, this polish is quite overpriced for the quality you get. I’d peg this as a $5 drugstore polish, at best. It’s too bad, because the colors are pretty cute.
A word of warning for Canadians: don’t order off the Aerie website, because the prices are higher, and as far as I know, they ship from the US so duties may apply. Best to just check out your local Aerie store, if you must.
Aerie Nail Polish is 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL and retails for US$7.95 / CA$7.95.
Aerie, a subbrand of American Eagle Outfitters, was launched in 2006. (For those wondering, an aerie/eyrie is the nest of a bird-of-prey, such as an eagle.) American Eagle Outfitters, a clothing retailer, was founded in 1977 and is based in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
I like the colour! Very spring!

Is it? Purple/lavender is great! I especially love how it goes with so many other colors.

I had no idea Aerie made nail polishes! I do quite like the unmentionables at Aerie – so comfy and cute! I really dislike the direction that La Senza has taken with their line (so much embellishment!).
Tellement. Amusant. is such an awesome name! 😛
The bottle reminds me of Essie. I like! How’s the brush?

Yeah, I was surprised when I saw the display at the checkout counter. There weren’t that many colors, maybe 6 or 8? Cute, though. The brush is decent, pretty typical these days. A bit Essie-like, though not as dense and maybe a bit too flexible.
And yeah, I haven’t shopped at La Senza for eons (or La Vie en Rose, remember them?).

Oh gosh, La Vie en Rose! 100% lacy craziness. I’m honestly not sure who shops there!
