Collection: Color Club 2014 Spring, Paris in Love
I scored a pack of six Color Club polishes, plus a clear top coat, marked down to CA$5 at Winners.
The Color Club packs sold at Winners are typically unlabeled, but the colors all looked like the ones in Color Club’s Spring 2014 Paris in Love collection. I’ll have to label the bottles myself.
Je t’aime (1037) is a pastel candy pink cream. It’s cute, but with it’s cool undertone, it’s so not my color!
As a side note, I have very little clue how to capitalize French titles, so I’m leaving Je t’aime (which means I love you) mostly uncapitalized.
The formula is pretty good for a pastel: two coats works well, though if you’re very picky, you might prefer a third.
Color Club Professional Nail Lacquer retails for US$8.50 (I’ve rarely seen it in Canada outside of Winners, but never checked the pricing) and is 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL. It is cruelty-free and made in USA.
Color Club is one of the lines produced by Forsythe Cosmetics Group, which was founded in 1979 by husband and wife team Buddy & Harriet Rose. Along with Color Club, the company also makes Art Club, Ruby Wing Color Changing Polish, and private label polishes for distributors and nail salons. The company is based in Freeport, NY, USA.
Very pretty colour for spring! 😊

It’s not my usual thing, but it sure suits the pastel trend we see every spring!

Oh I like this one a lot. I’m sure I have 10 in my collection like it… but varying degrees of formula – these colours can be so streaky so it’s good this one is decent formula-wise.

Hee! I tend to avoid bubblegum pinks like the plague, so I don’t actually have many of them. Do you have any faves in this color group?

Essie Hard to Get is pretty nice – it might be slightly darker than this.
