New Release: MAC — Charlotte Olympia Collection (Spring 2016)

Collection: MAC 2016 Spring, Charlotte Olympia

MAC has teamed up with British accessory designer Charlotte Olympia for a new, “retro glam” collection which includes three new Studio Nail Lacquers in limited edition packaging:

  • Good Old Days, a white cream
  • To Have or Have Not, an orange red cream
  • Old Fashioned, a deep burgundy red cream

Charlotte Olympia is known for whimsical shoes and handbags (at exquisite prices), and I’m actually a little disappointed that this MAC collection is more glam than whimsical.

However, I do adore the retro styling of the packaging (they also remind me a little of larger, pointier versions of Mavala nail polishes), though the colors leave a bit to be desired. Oh, a retro nail color collection with a cream, a warm red, and a vampy red? Whodathunk.

  1. It’s true, she’s more known for cat shoes than old Hollywood glam..
I’m SO tempted right now to get the white and the red polish!!! Yes they are really similar to the Mavala polishes. Have you seen the little clutch / cosmetic bag?
