Collection: Essie 2013 Spring, Resort
I recently picked up this 2013 Resort collection Essie at a nice discount, and it’s just perfect for spring!
Essie calls Double Breasted Jacket (889) a “passionate tourmaline ruby”. It’s a beautifully clean, clear medium red with soft, azalea pink undertones. It looks like one of those reds that would look fantastic on all skintones, warm or cool.

Red creams usually apply perfectly, and this is no exception. One coat is actually almost fully opaque, but Double Breasted Jacket looks best with two coats. Still, I’d classify it as a one-coat wonder!

This is pretty! I’ve seen this on clearance before too but I didn’t get it because “just how many red cremes does one person need?” But now I think I’ll get it next time I see it – it’s more pink than red to me.

Get it! 😀 It reads more red to me, but I wear red-colored glasses hehehe.

Ooh I’m not normally a big red fan – at least on me, but I like the lighter cherry toned hue this seems to have! Also thumbs up for that jacket, so chic!

I think this would definitely pull more pink on the right skintone, as well! I am a red person so everything is RED to me, LOL 🙂
