Brand: Flower Beauty
I’ve been making a habit of picking up one or two Flower nail polishes every time I make a Wal-Mart order—which is not all that often, so I have a lot more shades to get before accumulating the whole set. Ha!
I Lavendare You! (NP6) is a very whitened, milky pink-lavender pastel with subtle, sparkly, silver shimmer.
It applies fairly well for a such pastel shade, but it does require three coats for close-to-full opacity. You can see that it’s still a tad uneven, though.
The sparkle isn’t very obvious unless you’re looking at it under bright light:
It’s a cute color, but I do wish it was more opaque. At this price, you can do a little better at the drugstore.
Flower Nail’d It Nail Lacquer retails for US$4.98 / CA $5.98 and is 0.4 US fl oz / 12 mL. It is free of toluene, added formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and is made in the USA. As you’d expect from Drew Barrymore, the brand is cruelty-free.
Flower Beauty products are manufactured by Maesa Group, based in France with operations worldwide. Maesa also manufacture products for companies like Elizabeth Arden, L’Oréal, Victoria’s Secret, and Zara.
