My second UD haul in two months…maybe I need to unsubscribe from Urban Decay Canada’s website!
Sure enough, last week, UD.ca sent out an email with a link to order the new lipsticks, and I could not resist getting:
- Vice Lipstick in Backdoor (CA$21)
- Vice Lipstick in Cruel (CA$21)
- Revolution Lipstick in Lovelight (CA$13, marked down from $26)
I love that the new Vice Lipsticks are priced lower than the previous Revolution Lipsticks, and that they’ve gone back to my preferred classic lipstick bullet shape.
Shipping was free with a CA$50 purchase, plus eBates.ca was giving 4% cashback (not entirely sure it works with sale items, though). And, UD.ca gives out nice samples!
- Perversion Mascara (free sample)
- Eyeshadow Primer Potion (free sample)
- Vice Lipstick 24-shade sampler (free sample)
Guys, the lipstick sampler! It’s awesome. I am going to try to swatch them all as soon as I can. I think I will need to eventually get Gash, just for old times’ sake. I’ll even get to pull out my new lip brush that I haven’t used yet.
I’m most keen on trying Firebird, Disturbed, Manic, and Amulet. I already have—in Revolution form—the shades Rock Steady (mini) and Rapture, and I had Gash way back in the day (it does look a li’l different now—the old one was shimmery and looked deeper). How lucky that the two Vice lipsticks I ordered are not in this set of 24! I guess Backdoor and Cruel aren’t UD faves, huh?
Here’s the rest of the (actual) haul:
The new packaging is swell! I do have a slight preference for lipstick caps that are half the length of the tube, rather than almost the full length of the tube, but that seems to be the trend these days. And, the old UD lipsticks were designed this way, as well. (I should have a couple of the old lipsticks hanging around…I’ve got to try to find them and do a little photoshoot!)
