I’ve been wanting to try ColourPop for a while, now (thanks to bloggers like A Brash Attitude with all her gorgeous eyeshadow swatches!), and when I recently had the opportunity to have US parcels brought up to me in Canada, I finally placed a little order for the first time.
ColourPop, sadly, don’t do nail polish, but I snagged a few eyeshadows and a couple of lipsticks.
Coincidentally, right before I received my parcel, my Ipsy bag arrived with a ColourPop eyeliner, which technically became my first ColourPop product:

Rose gold in an eyeliner! Swoon.
ColourPop on their Crème Gel Liners [MSRP US$6]:
Creamy application makes blending super easy, and the formula dries down for long-lasting wear! Because the liner is so creamy, do not over advance your liner to prevent breakage. For blending and smoky looks, use a pencil brush. Smooth glide for easy and comfortable waterline application.
And, here’s the unpacking of my ColourPop order—the inside of the box is so pretty!

ColourPop on their Super Shock Shadows [MSRP US$5]:
For maximum coverage: Use fingertip and tap shadow onto eye lid. A flat, fine tip synthetic brush will work fabulously as well and is actually better for a more detailed application close to the lash line. However, your fingertips make for the most intense application. To blend: Use a fluffy brush that has good movement, dip tip of the brush into the shadow and blend with a “wind shield wiper” movement throughout the crease of the eye. This will make your shadow softer and more diffused (like a total pro). When finished, close that sucker up tight! Don’t leave the jar opened for long periods of time, you may lose some of the magic that makes the Super Shock Shadow so amazzzing.
ColourPop on their Lippie Stix [MSRP US$5]:
We’ve made it easy for you – every Lippie Stix has a matching Lippie Pencil that was designed to match its partner perfectly. However, we’re not trying to be a bossy pants and tell you creative lovelies what to do. So, if you want to create an Ombre lip look or something, have fun mixing and matching & do your thang! MATTE FINISH Full coverage, superrr long wearing, ultra-comfortable & seriously loaded with pigment in a matte finish.
The Super Shock Shadows come in very cute boxes:

ColourPop was also celebrating their 2nd birthday with a Super Shock Shadow in Birthday Boy, which came free with each order! It is housed in special LE packaging that is purple rather than white:

Here are all five Super Shock Shadows:

Super Shock Shadow in Cricket (“smoky mid-tone plum with warm and cool highlights of soft glitter”):

Super Shock Shadow in Lace (“deep rich blue violet with a pearlized finish”):

Super Shock Shadow in Partridge (“saddle brown undertone with a green duo chrome finish in a Pearlized Finish”):

Super Shock Shadow in So Quiche (“soft olive with a highly reflective gold and pink violet glittery duo chrome metallic finish”)…mmm, who doesn’t love quiche?!

The only slightly disappointing thing is that you can see that a couple of them have shrunk away a bit from the container; I hope this doesn’t mean they’ve dried out too much. Once opened, ColourPop says the shadows will last a year if you close the tub tightly after each use. (Unopened, they should last three years.)
Here are the two lipsticks I got: clearly, I am still drawn to the vampies.
Lippie Stix in Chateau (“Feel fancy as fu** in this warm-tone blackened red in Matte X finish”):

Lippie Stix in Lady (“Act like a lady, look like a boss in this cool toned dirty burgundy in a Matte finish”):

I’m really pleased with the presentation and actual packaging of the products for items that cost US$5–6, they are nice and the colors all look gorgeous.
ColourPop has also recently started shipping internationally, which is fantastic news (except for those in China and Turkey, which are the two exceptions). I feel strongly that there will be more ColourPop orders in my future!
Have you tried ColourPop, and if so what are your favorite products?

Oooh you popped your ColourPop cherry! 😉
I’m still a ColourPop virgin. 😀
That birthday eye shadow colour looks really nice and wearable! Man… I should have placed an order. It does concern me about how the product dries out. No one can finish an eye shadow in 3 years!

Yes, that was one thing that did bother me – I’ve never finished an eyeshadow in three years… I guess they’re pretty inexpensive, though! I wonder if they can be revived at all, after they dry out. I should check out the ingredient list.

Love all the eyeshadow shades you choose – they’re all so pretty, Lace in particular.
I’ve never tried any of Colorpop’s products, I’m trying to avoid ordering anything from the US after a bad experience I had with Express recently. The exchange rate is so brutal right now.

ITA it’s a pain ordering from the US now – especially if you get dinged with customs! Let’s hope the CAD goes back up soon…

Oh everything you picked is so pretty! And what lovely packaging as well. As self protection, I am not going to find out if they do international shipping.
