Collection: China Glaze 2016 Winter, Seas & Greetings
I recently picked up a 6-pack of minis from China Glaze’s Holiday 2016 collection, Seas & Greetings.

(Seas & Greetings holiday 2016 collection)
The eponymous Seas and Greetings (83781, though the mini has a different code) is a semi-sheer grape with pink shimmer.
It’s the first real dud I’ve tried in this set, but only because I’ve been so happy with the others! Honestly, this one’s just a bit ho-hum by comparison. The grape purple is a little dull and dusty, though it’s livened up nicely with some fine pink shimmer. The semi-sheer formula isn’t doing it any favors, either.

Application is fine and streak-free. Two coats gives semi-sheer coverage. It’s pretty enough like this, and the color lends itself well to being worn not fully opaque. Overall, it’s a pretty shade—just not all that interesting.

I “sea” what you mean… it’s very weak and the pink shimmer isn’t really visible.

I think this shade has so much potential but the sheerness just makes it… Flop I guess.
