It’s Victoria Day weekend in Canada, and we took the kids out to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), a first for them. I’ve posted my photos here if you’re interested!
This weekend, the ROM has a code (SAVE5, use it online or mention it at the museum) for $5 off their general admission or the Blue Whale special exhibit, so there’s still time if you want to go and check it out.

Looks like a fun museum😊 x

It is! I feel badly that I’ve lived here for so long and there’s still so much of it (especially the world/cultural sections) that I haven’t seen.

Aw so nice to visit the ROM. We keep meaning to go since it’s so close but we’re deterred by all the groups lined up when we walk by! 😛

There was surprisingly very little lineup when we went on Saturday! It was a bit later in the afternoon, though – that could be why.

There is something kind of cute about the finger bones in the whale flippers??? I don’t know why, it just makes the world seem more connected :]
I’m looking at their website now and saw that there’s an exhibit on the Franklin Expedition, one of my weird obsessions. And Ancient Egypt galleries! Sounds like a really fun place, and perhaps impossible to take in all of it in visit?
