Probelle — In or Out (Nail Lacquer) Swatch & Review

Brand: Probelle

I received my second Probelle Nail Lacquer in my last Ipsy bag.

There’s not much detailed information about their company on their official site, so all I know is that they are sold mostly in nail salons, and they seem to specialize in their nail growth treatments. They offer worldwide shipping on their website.

I’ve never seen the brand sold anywhere in Canada, but suffice to say that while the polish is perfectly decent, it’s not a brand I’ll be especially looking out for. The bottle is pretty cute for an inexpensive brand, though.

The color I received is perfect for spring and summer: In or Out is a soft, but not pastel, shade of pink-lilac. It reminds me of a deeper version of Essie Under Where?, which I recently reviewed.

Morgan Taylor — Eye Candy (Professional Nail Lacquer) Swatch & Review

Brand: Morgan Taylor

I received this, my second Morgan Taylor polish, from my recent Luxe Box.

Eye Candy (50096) is a stunning deeper shade of periwinkle in a cream finish. It’s a touch more lilac than blue, with a hint of dustiness, but not enough to detract from some intensity.

Essie — Using My Maiden Name (Nail Polish) Swatch & Review

Collection: Essie Spring 2013, Bridal

Using My Maiden Name, from Essie’s 2013 Bridal collection, is inspired by the lovely hydrangea. It’s a cool, blue-toned, medium wisteria-purple with gorgeous, fine pink shimmer. Not quite “something blue” but it would be amazing on some bridal tips or toes! It’s not my best color, but I really love how pretty and feminine this polish is.

This polish applied reasonably smoothly. The photo shows two thin coats. It’s not fully opaque (but I wouldn’t exactly call it semi-sheer), so if you want full coverage, you’ll need three thin coats or two thicker ones.
