SpaRitual’s Spring 2017 collection, Inhale, comes in their new, 10-free, breathable nail polish.
A 10 Free and All-In-One polish to nourish, lengthen, strengthen and brighten your nails. No basecoat or topcoat needed, just 2 coats of color.
For some reason, the website does not appear to talk about the breathable aspect of the new formula, but promo material I’ve found online does state the following (from NailsMag):
The new Nourishing Vegan Color Inhale Collection from SpaRitual is lightweight and breathable, allowing oxygen and hydration to penetrate the polish through advanced oxygen technology, which mimics a contact lens.
The new collection consists of 5 soft shades—everyone does soft shades for spring, don’t they?
Nourishing Vegan Color is 15 mL and retails for US$12.50. The company is vegan and cruelty-free.
SpaRitual was founded in 2004 by Shel Pink, self-styled “Lifestyle Futurist” and daughter-in-law of Orly founder Jeff Pink. The company is based in Van Nuys, CA, USA.
SpaRitual has released their Winter 2015 collection, “Awakening”. It consists of six shades in mostly crisp, cool shades.
This season we shift from observer to activist in order to preserve the delicate balance of nature. To create new scenarios for the future. We carefully consider the impact of the choices we make and thoughtfully move in positive directions. We are empowered to take action, to serve, each in our own unique and thoughtful way.
The six shades are (descriptions are mine based on the website’s info):
Take Action, an iridescent pearly white shimmer
In the Wild, a whitened slate blue cream
Visionary, a light steel blue shimmer
In Service, a turquoise blue shimmer
Creative Activist, a duochrome taupe/lavender shimmer
Bright Future, a deep purple cream
I’m a big fan of SpaRitual polishes, even though I don’t actually own that many, unfortunately! I’ll have to pick up a couple of these, for sure! Creative Activist and Visionary are calling to me… Which ones do you like?
SpaRitual is a vegan and eco-friendly line of nail polish owned by Orly. The polishes are free of toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP). The MSRP is US$12 for a 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL bottle.
As we are entering the fall months on this first day of September—though fall doesn’t technically begin here in Canada until September 23—I thought it would be a very responsible idea to enter a low-buy for the upcoming season. After all, I’ve gotta start saving money for those post-holiday deals, right?
Plus, the Canadian dollar is so weak at the moment, and prices are slowly going up. We’re down to 75¢ to the US dollar, guys! It hasn’t been this low since the 90s, I think.
So I have resolved to “shop my stash” more and stop buying so much bloody nail polish until December. You might start to see reviews of things I bought over a year ago…
To get myself in the mood for a low-buy, here’s a roundup of my Winners purchases since about April. That’s about five months, basically since my last Winners haul post, so this post is really more like: Purchases for the Second Half of Spring, and Summer.
Now, I love shopping at the TJ Maxx stores (that’s Winners and HomeSense in Canada, though we also recently got Marshalls, too). They’re obviously a bit hit/miss, but the hits can be fantastic!
In anticipation of Halloween, I have an orange nail polish from SpaRitual, Orly’s higher end brand. Both lines make a fantastic nail polish formula, and I love their rubberized caps for great, non-slip application.
Hijinks is a lovely, semi-sheer corally orange with fine gold shimmer. It has a super smooth, slightly jellied finish and applies beautifully. I do wish it was an opaque polish, though! I bet it’d look fantastic over an orange cream.
SpaRitual Nail Lacquer, 0.5 fl. oz. / 15 mL. MSRP $12 US. SpaRitual nail lacquers are vegan and free of DBP, toluene, camphor, formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin. They are also packaged responsibly.
